Volleyball

Enhance your coordination and reflexes in our volleyball program, where students learn the value of perseverance and teamwork.  Volleyball is available for girls aged 5th grade – 12th grade.

Cross Country

Push your limits and achieve personal bests in our cross country program, promoting physical fitness and resilience.  Cross Country is available as a co-ed team for those aged 5th grade – 12th grade.

Boys Soccer

Experience the thrill of the game with our soccer program, focusing on skill development and team collaboration.  Soccer is available for boys aged 6th grade – 12th grade.

Boys Basketball

Develop agility and strategic thinking with our competitive basketball program, emphasizing teamwork and sportsmanship.  Basketball is available for boys aged 5th grade – 12th grade.

Girls Basketball

Develop agility and strategic thinking with our competitive basketball program, emphasizing teamwork and sportsmanship.  Basketball is available for girls aged 5th grade – 12th grade.

Swimming

Swim with purpose in our Christ-centered program, growing in skill, confidence, and faith with every lap.  Swimming is a co-ed team for those aged 6th – 12th grade.  Prior swim team experience is required.

Sharpen your skills in our golf program, where participants discover the importance of focus and camaraderie on the course.  Golf is available as a co-ed team for those aged 6th grade – 12th grade.

Tennis

Elevate your game and discover your potential in our tennis program, fostering agility and teamwork on the court.  Tennis is available as a co-ed team for those aged 6th – 12th grade.

Trying Out

In order to tryout, a Summit student or homeschool student must meet the following criteria:

1) Submit a completed VHSL Examination Form to the coach or athletic director in person, via office drop off or email.

2) Have a cumulative GPA of 2.00 with no grade of “F” on the most recent report card.

A Team Member

To be an officially registered member of a sports team, an athlete must complete the following:

1) Pay the Sports Fee.  $120 (Varsity & JV Teams) $100 (JJV Teams) $240 (Homeschooler – Varsity & JV Teams) $200 (Homeschooler – JJV Team)

2) Complete the online registration process (link is sent to team members after tryouts are completed.

3) Agree to the Statement of Faith set forward in the Athletic Handbook.

 

Coaches

If you are interested in joining our coaching staff, please complete our coaching application.  We are always looking for excellent coaches with a strong faith background.

Other Information

Homeschoolers: Summit allows homeschoolers to try out and participate on all teams per the Athletic Handbook.  Homeschoolers must submit a $100 uniform deposit, which will be retained if the uniform is not returned.

JJV level teams participate in the Peninsula Independent Athletic League (PIAL)
