Common Questions from Parents
We’ve compiled answers to some of the most common questions parents have about our school policies and procedures.
What are the school hours?
Our grammar school operates from 8:15 AM to 3:05 PM, Monday through Thursday. On Friday, the grammar school operates from 8:15 AM to 2:00 PM. The Before Care program runs from 7:00 AM through 7:55 AM and the After Care program runs from dismissal to 5:30 PM Monday – Friday unless otherwise stated.
Our upper school operates from 8:00 AM to 3:15 PM, Monday through Thursday. On Friday, the upper school operates from 8:00 AM to 1:45 PM.
How can I access the school calendar?
The school calendar is available on this page under the ‘Essential Resources’ section. You should also receive the weekly Eagle Eye with important dates. If you are not receiving it, please contact the Director of Admissions.can also subscribe to receive updates directly to your email.
What is the dress code policy?
Summit Christian Academy requires students to wear uniforms that can be purchased through Lands End or through our Used Uniform sales. Detailed guidelines are available on this page.
How do I report my child's absence?
Please call the school office by 9:00 AM on the day of the absence or send an email to either grammar@scaschools.org or upper@scaschools.org to notify us.
